Hansini Rathnayake is the Laboratory Manager for TERC and SAF-IC. Hansini has a strong background in Lab Management, having worked for 10 years at a petroleum products manufacturing plant in Sri Lanka, and most recently in a water testing services lab in the UK. Hansini has a Bsc in Chemistry and a Msc in Analytical Chemistry, as well as ISO17025 training in Sri Lanka’s accreditation board. She has expertise in product formulations, material sourcing and establishing laboratory methods for laboratory work.

At TERC and SAF-IC Hansini’s role will involve updating and maintaining processes for equipment, initiating the procedure for ISO17025 and understanding all of our key lab equipment and operations, as well as overseeing the implementation of SAF-IC ASTM methods.
