Dr Maria Fernanda Rojas-MichagaResearch Associate

    Dr Maria Fernanda Rojas-Michaga is a Research Associate at the EIC.

    Maria’s research is focused on techno-economic and life cycle assessment of the production of sustainable aviation fuels with neutral and negative carbon emissions, such as BECCS or Power-to-Liquids alternatives. At EIC, Maria has been involved in different projects, such as the molten carbonate fuel cell project, as well as hydrogen production from biomass gasification.

    Maria studied Chemical Engineering at the University of San Simon, Bolivia, where she also worked as a lecturer. She has a Masters degree in Energy and Processes from the IFP School in France.
