Rhianne Spurden is the Marketing and Communications Officer for the Translational Energy Research Centre and for other Energy research at the University of Sheffield, including the Energy Institute. Rhianne has a varied marketing and communications background, including periods of time working in the technology, law, and housing sectors. In addition to her role with the Translational Energy Research Centre she works closely with colleagues in the Faculty of Engineering and at a wider level to provide a cohesive approach to promoting the energy research from throughout the University.
Rhianne works closely with the team, in particular the Business Development Manager and Research Associates, to implement promotional strategies which highlight the capabilities of the facility, research achievements and the benefits of membership. She also monitors and develops the website ad social media channels, creates promotional material, coordinates events and showcases news and case studies.
