Tim Cathcart is the Electrical Control and Instrumentation Technician at the Transitional Energy Research Centre and Sustainable Aviation Fuels Innovation Centre. Tim has a background in working in temporary power, leading teams working on high profile international events such as the Tokyo Olympics, the Rugby World Cup and the Commonwealth Games.

Tim is responsible for the day to day operation and preventative maintenance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems on our world-leading, pilot-scale industrial equipment. His role includes installing, maintaining, testing and inspecting electrical installations, panel wiring, safety circuits, and PLC programming and troubleshooting.
